Patients mostly associate the surgery in dentistry with tooth extraction.
However, modern dental surgery allows teeth afflicted by various pathological
processes to be retained. We perform such procedures in our Clinic
as apicoectomy (root-end resection) or cyst removal, something which allows
for the saving of the teeth involved! We also perform small surgical procedures
involving soft tissue, such as correction of gum shape or an overgrown fraenum,
and a range of procedures preparing and correcting the effects of prosthetic
and orthodontic treatment. All the procedures are performed painlessly,
under local or general anaesthetic. |
